Instructions

  1. Lay your plastic sheet out flat and mark lines to cut out.
  2. Do art decoration. The narrow edge is the top. Cut and place 2 sticks - 17.5 inches - from the top to bottom diagonal corners. Tape ends to sail, and wrap tape over the ends onto the opposite side.
  3. Cut stick 14 1/4 inches and place horizontally. Tape your ends the same as the other sticks.
  4. Cut string 30" long and attach each end on the top 2 corners. Cut another 30" string and attach to top bridle with a larks head knot (attach opposite end to center where sticks cross). Bridles should be on face side.
  5. Cut 8" string for bridle loop and attach with larks head knot onto lower bridle leg.
  6. Make tail with plastic strips, ribbon or macrame cord. Attach with tape to each bottom corner.
  7. Cut 25' or more of string and wind onto hobby stick. Attach string to adjustable bridle loop.
  8. Adjust bridle. Hang kite by fly line. Bottom line must hang slightly lower than top. Re-adjust to wind speed.
