Make a Sugar Glider Kite

• Coloured pencils or felt pens
• Three drinking straws
• String or wool
• Streamers for the tail

Here's how to make your kite:

1. Fold the kite in half along the heavy centre line. Staple one straw inside the fold to make the spine stiff.
2. Fold the kite back along the dotted lines. Staple two straws across the top of the kite to hold the wings open.
3. Attach a tail.... as long or as short as you like. Crepe paper is ideal.
4. Tie on a long length of string or wool so you can fly your kite !
