Construction Prototype

The kite weighed circa 20 gr before the bridle and hummer were attached. A single piece of  Japanese washi paper was used instead of various separate colored pieces of crystal paper.

Test flight during 15-20 km/h winds (3BFT). Bridle length of 25 cm at the top (2x) and 23 cm at the bottom. The tail loops were 23 cm each. Flying behavior was excellent

Overall length of the tail in the photo was 7 meters, but also with 4 meters the kite maintained stability. The tail is made of hemp string with strips of rip-stop nylon tied into slipknots.
