"Possible improvements to the Trick Tac UL kite - part 2"

Now here are a pair of tips I forgot on my last E-mail:

  1. Pockets instead of spar covers:
When you cut the kite's leading edge, leave 1 extra cm. Fold this margin over and zig-zag stitch it. I know this solution is not as aesthetic as yours, bt it's easier, lighter and smoother.
  2. Spars:
As you suggested on your mail, using 1,5mm intead of 2mm spars saves around 8g from the kite's weigth. Moreover, you can use one 1mm spar for the upper spreader (it's enough).

I hope you'll find my advice usefull and look forward to hearing from you.
