Tangens-Delta

The Open Keel Delta (Tangens-Delta) is a delta kite optimized for weak wind, featuring an open bow keel for improved stability. Inspired by Ron Moulton and “Fang den Wind,” it uses smooth transitions at the trailing edge and tail via a tangents-shaped curve to minimize drag. The design prioritizes ease of folding with 1,65m long sticks, adjustable for compact packing, while maintaining good flight traits like a 96° leading-edge angle and minimal bulk.
